The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler PT CRUISER. While driving approximately 35 mph in rainy weather conditions, the front windshield wipers stopped operating in the upright position. The contact changed the wiper fuse per the owner's manual; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was not taken to a mechanic for diagnostic testing due to the rainy weather conditions. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 102,000.
