first mechanic to hear the telltale clicking noise thought something was just loose in the engine, said "ok to drive and bring back on Saturday". Wrong. Clicking and whistling noise was the first sign of the turbo going out. Had to be replaced, only able to get a rebuilt turbo at the time.
