The gen 3 seat belt system has been proven in a court of law to be defective. In fact, twice in our car the belt holding our sons has released while making a sudden stop at low speed. We fell this belt needs to be investigated further by a federal Agency to decide once and for all if these belts should be recalled. So far we have read reports on the internet by abc news prime time and aarca on their websites, so that may be a starting place for your investigation.
