Constant fuel vapor fumes of raw gas coming into the vehicle, recall campaign 98V184000 was done to the vehicle as the reinforcements are present, fumes occur daily with presence of fuel coming out of reinforcement area outlet fuel rail was not replaced. Believe Chrysler needs to replace the outlet fuel rail as per recall as reinforcements do not hold up.
: the contact stated in January 1999, a recall letter was received for the fuel injection system, NHTSA #98V184000. The vehicle was taken to the dealership and the recall work was performed. In February 2004, fuel began to leak from the engine compartment. The vehicle was taken to the dealership and the O-rings were replaced. The manufacturer was contacted for reimbursement, but because the failure occurred after the one year warranty, the claim was denied.
Consumer took vehicle in for recall repairs on O-rings. When consumer picked up car there was a strong gas smell after recall was performed, consumer was charged the second time to see where the smell was coming from.

The recall remedy has not sufficiently corrected the recall problem, the fuel injection delivery system continues to leak from the O-rings, recall number 98V184000. Took vehicle to dealer, but did not correct the problem to owner's satisfaction.
While driving vehicle started to sputter. Took vehicle to dealership & was informed the fuel rail was leaking on the motor from the plastic line. The fuel rail needed to be replaced due to being cracked.
Consumer received a recall/fuel leakage, upon having this defect repaired consumer has taken vehicle back to dealership 8 times. First time everything was replaced, repairs were done in February since then vehicle does not operate right, causing a number of other problems, .the vehicle is now over accelerating.
