My rear window came unglued from my top. No glue will fix it. Pretty mad that they warranty the 2005 when the 2006 has the same problem. It shouldn't matter how many miles the car has because they know its a problem.

With the hundreds of complaints (especially in the south where temperatures are hot). Why hasn't a class action suit been filed to get this problem fixed through a recall.

This medium would be the place to get it done. You have the complaints.

My rear window is detaching from the convertible top and is starting to flap. The window has detached enough for rain to get into the car.

On June 11, 2015, I called Chrysler about the issue and logged a complaint. The 2005 Chrysler Crossfire owners were given an extended warranty for ten years and 100,000 miles. My car was built in January 2006. My car could have sat on the assembly line from the end of December, 2005, to the beginning of January, 2006 while it was being completed. I am sure that the same cotton fabric that was used on the 2005 models were used on the 2006 models, so why is our top not covered and the 2005's are? Chrysler could not explain that to me. In addition, I asked how many complaints had to be logged in order for a recall to be made on the car, they had no answer for that question either.

I went to a Chrysler dealer that had a repair shop and asked if they worked on the convertible and they told me no that I had to take it to an Upholstery shop. I went to the Upholstery shop, they recommended and was told that it was going to cost about $1750. The shocking part of my conversation is that the gentleman at the upholstery shop told me that I would have to order the top through Chrysler, now if I got a brand new car from them, which I did, and I am having issues with the window separating from the existing convertible top fabric what kind of guarantee do I have that the same issue will not reoccur? The upholstery gentleman explained to me that the window is microwave, heat sealed to the fabric and that no glue will hold that window in place.

I am looking forward to my conversation with the case manager at the Chrysler Corporation to see what suggestions they make and the outcome of that conversation will determine the next step in getting my issue resolved.

To say the least, I am highly disappointed in Chrysler and am angry at the hurdles I am having to go through to get a satisfactory solution to my problem.
