CarComplaints.com Notes: The Chrysler Crossfire has a nasty habit of having the back window fall out. While there are reports of this happening to every model year (2004-08), the 2005 has it worst. Naturally this problem tends to happen beyond the standard 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty leaving owners to pick up the tab along with the shattered pieces of glass.
Chrysler dealer wants $600 to order part - I purchased the auto less 60 days ago. There was only one key and this trim was broken with tape (aluminum). I bought it as is certified.
I bought this 2005 Crossfire convertible with very low miles but have constant little issues with it. They are only little issues but should not be happening to a low miles car that has been garaged and pampered in every way. When I take the car to the dealer service...they tell me it is mostly Mercedes. Mercedes does not want to talk with me because it has a Chysler badge. So...I guess it is a bastard car. But I still enjoy driving it in the desert on summer evenings.
