CarComplaints.com Notes: The Chrysler Crossfire has a nasty habit of having the back window fall out. While there are reports of this happening to every model year (2004-08), the 2005 has it worst. Naturally this problem tends to happen beyond the standard 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty leaving owners to pick up the tab along with the shattered pieces of glass.

I have mentioned several other problems with the car, most serious of which is the inability to turn the key. But, a problem that came up regarding the convertible top was that once it was returned to the closed position, and seemed to be locked and sealed, I found the passenger mat soaked after a rain. Apparently the seal isn't sealing on the passenger side. The cheap solution? A plastic garbage bag inserted just so... it was okay. Not very pretty from the inside, but it kept the car dry.
Since then I have learned the meaning of degrees of difficulty. Had that been the only problem, aside from the cheap cup holder being broken, I could have ignored it. Then came the top not even opening and the car not starting sometimes unless the key and wheel jiggled, to the key not turning at all AFTER hundreds in replacement part installation. So, that's it.
