The contact owns a 2002 Chrysler Concorde. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 mph, the vehicle decelerated as the RPM reading increased. The contact stated that after shutting the engine off and restarting, he was able to drive without failure. The failure later recurred intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis but the technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 85,000.
