Im not to sure why my car did this. I just shut off in stop and go traffic luckily, because I had my 2year old son in the car. I was able to start if back up and get home. It didnt happen again but you never know when it will happen.
On July 3,2003 I took my car in for service and told them it was leaking. The car leaks at all doors and in the trunk. Also the trim around the headlights is coming out. I was told that there would be a charge of $134.49 for the headlight trim repair and $201.17 for the new door gaskets. The trunk I was not given an estimate on because they said the water doctor would need to repair that. I told them that I felt that the car was defective and I should not have to pay for any repairs. I was called back a week later and was told that the manufacturer would pay 1/3 of the cost of the repair, the service dept. Would pay 1/3 of the cost and I would be required to pay the remaining 1/3. I am not happy with this arrangment as I know this a defect in the car.
