Update to previous report assigned ODI id: 707635. Vehicle has without warning shuddered violently on 3 occasions, once at 25-30 mph and twice at 67 mph. Malfunction could not be replicated after 90 miles of test driving. No problems apparent with suspension or steering. No engine or tcm fault codes recorded. At this point cause unknown.
On 3 separate occasions over 3 days, vehicle began to shudder violently. Once at 35 mph and twice at 65 mph. Applying brakes did not stop problem. Only when speed came down to 35 - 45 mph. Two dealers have inspected the tires, engine, transmission and suspension without result. While problem has not recurred since 5/30, there could be a serious accident if it occurred again at high speed in heavy traffic.
