2000 Chrysler Cirrus tire blew out causing the consumer to hit the median wall. According to the report, the right rear tire sis not have puncture holes. The tire wall bead against the wheel had jagged rips and had separated from the wheel. 3 occupants in the vehicle were injured. Ohio traffic crash report.
Consumer stated that chemical change in aluminum rims was forcing tire away from rim and there was an air leak. Consumer had to put air in tires once or twice a week. Dealership is aware of problem.
