1999 Chrysler Cirrus, will not start after rain. There is no distributor and I feel that it could be a problem with the fuel system. I pump the gas and try to turn it over it just cranks sometimes it does eventually start. I have missed days of work. So when ever it rains I am always worried, this happens often.
Gas guage stated well over a fourth, service manager said the gas tank concaved giving a false reading. Car had to be towed and gas lines had to be flushed out. Tow bill plus repair bill over $200. Service manager said it was a defect with the gas tank. (hot weather made it concave) said to replace gas tank cost would cost over $600. I orginally bought this car in winston salem, nc at northpoint Chrysler but I took it for service to the mount airy, nc location, patterson Chrysler.
