engine stalls without warning at any speed

The selections to fill this issue out in drop down menu's are limited, so for clarity the issue hasn't been repaired because the dealer has no clue what's wrong and therefore I don't know the cost to repair even to this day because its still a mystery. Engine stalls at random at any speed, loss of steering & brakes as well as propulsion occurs, although the lights & radio are unaffected. Scrambling to pull off to side from middle of highway without getting killed has been biggest challenge, as well as stalling in middle of intersections or Michigan turnarounds. Problem started going on a year ago and the vehicle was under extended warranty we purchased. Took to dealer over 5 times for this issue alone and they keep vehicle for total of 2.5 weeks across those many visits where dealer claims they weren't able to duplicate the stalling. Happens at any level of fuel in tank. Initially vehicle would restart once off to side of road and restarted, after this happened about a dozen times it no longer starts immediately and even with minutes of cranking it wont start until you wait 5-10 minutes stranded. Its a rolling death trap and Chrysler was notified by dealer whom I forced to contact since they had no clue whats wrong with it. Dealer claims all systems check good every time. During this as precaution to try and find solution the ECM, Coils, MAP, Throttle Body& Air Temp were replaced with new with no impact. Even the transmission filters & oil were changed since that particular transmission had a concern by some it was potentially the cause of stalling, no impact and no fix to stalling issue. Fuel system was also cleaned prior to the stalling issues by another dealer where after that I noticed both a loss of performance & MDS had a failure [#4] directly after as well. So be cautious letting dealer clean your fuel system. Took it to another dealer, I asked repeatedly for dealer [Szott White Lake] to get Chrysler engineering staff to look at vehicle since they had no clue what's wrong each and every time I brought it there, they claimed they didn't have the same computers to diagnose as Chrysler engineers and never did anything to get them out to look at my vehicle. No resolve ever found and Chrysler warranty did not honor the warranty; instead rejected the claims where I had to pay rental car because they couldn't figure it out. They let my warranty get to 1 month of expiring and refused any continuing effort to look for issue, so now I'm left with a rolling death trap. It should be criminal for Chrysler to not fix this truck where my wife and 3 small children were almost killed twice and me personally about a dozen times. I'm writing this today because truck just did it again, it left my wife & daughter stranded in intersection near DTE music center about 30 minutes ago; I went online trying again to see if I can find a solution and saw this website where I decided others are likely having same dealer incompetence issues so I could inform of what we tried to replace & it didn't work. I changed MAP sensor after warranty expired to see if it helped, no issues after that for the entire hot summer and that's why I let my wife drive it again, thought the MAP sensor may have been the final fix, but it just did it again where it hasn't done it for over 3 months. Temperatures today for first time all summer cooling off and in the high 60's outside and sunshine. All of a sudden it just didn't it again, where last time it did it was in 60 or below temp's back in Spring. We are going to have to get another vehicle [won't be garbage from Chrysler you can be assured] since we can't keep taking the risk to our safety. I don't know what to do with this truck; I don't want to sell it to someone [its in beautiful shape other than stalling at random] until I know its fixed since I don't want them to get hurt. Currently I don't know what to do and Chrysler failed me.

Update from Dec 19, 2018: Folks, I was finally able to fix the problem, it was the CAM Position Sensor. I went ahead & changed the Crank Position Sensor too because its always good to change them in pairs, but especially the issue was rooted in a sporadically failing CAM Position Sensor. It doesn't always trip an engine code despite what you may be told to the contrary. It fixed the problem immediately. It passed the 'dealer scans' but they failed to figure it out after multiple visits. I was finally able to root cause due to my other Chryser, a Chrysler 300C Hemi w/ same basic engine that ALSO started to have random sluggishness and wanting to die once pout into gear or on highway. That vehicle did trip the engine code, but NOT every time. Both vehicles were fixed with a CAM & Crank Position Sensor replacement. Please be aware you may need to replace the CAM sensors multiple times, the Aspen was a 1 & done [so far], but the 300C only stays fixed for about 6 months before I have to swap it out again. The sensor quality apparently isn't what it should be, but its free replacement if you buy ones with warranty. It fixes the vehicle instantly each time. I'm taking time to update my original post in hopes it helps some of you with same problem.
