When you are planning to use the truck you can not expect for it to start .... it sometimes will start right away and sometimes it will not. Once the truck has started don't cut it off until you are finished with your trips for the day or you will need a jump to start the truck up again. It is not the battery because we have bought a new battery and it started the same thing again ... not coming on without a jump. There is one thing that occurs when the truck will not come on and that is the heater will blow air continually and we cannot turn it off with the knobs. Something is draining the battery whether it is running or park in front of the house.... it first, we thought that it was the computer key (it will unlock the doors) because the manufactured alarm would prevent us from starting the truck so, we went and bought a new computer key from the dealer and for while it works perfectly then it started to drain the battery and that is when we thought we needed a new battery and took the old battery and the store said that there was nothing wrong with the old battery.... and we have had progressing problem ever since that day.
Now, when we want to use the truck we have to carry around a portable battery to kick start the truck if it stops starting up once we have finish shopping in the store. The problem has to be electrical because the lights occasional will blink dimly while starting to turn the truck over and somehow I think that my heater/air conditional is the problem that is preventing my truck from working properly. I cannot depend on my truck to start anymore no matter now and I am very unhappy with my first SUV that I bought for me in 2007 for my birthday on Dec. 8, 2007. My Aspen has been faithful until this point in my life it has been on the roads delivering me to my destination for over 8 years and I would be so happy to know why my Aspen has stopped working.
