The contact owns a 2002 Chrysler 300M. The contact stated that the wheel rims were rusted and corroded from the inside and caused the tires to become slack. The contact had to continuously add air to the tires on a daily basis for over seven years. On one occasion while driving 50 mph, the tire detached from the rim, causing the vehicle to flip and roll over twice. The vehicle was destroyed and there were no injuries reported. A police report was not filed. The manufacturer was notified of the incident who advised the contact that the vehicle was no longer under warranty and offered no further assistance. The failure mileage was 98,000.
