I purchased this car used (still making payments on it) around March 23rd. Everything seemed to be going well when all of a sudden in the middle of driving the car cut off. It will restart right up when you turn the key in the ignition. This is really dangerous and annoying. I have taken it to the mechanic and described the problem and the mechanic cant seem to find a problem. The problem starts when you press on the gas and it makes a loud humming noise and doesn't seem to accelerate. Then you notice the car slowing down, then the steering wheel locks up and so do the brakes. The car cuts off and the oil light comes on. Has anyone had this problem or something similar?? Please help!!!
