Brakes applied with out the application from the driver then released.this occurred two times driving at 50 mph. The car was then parked. The defrost and heat came on and the antilock light illuminated both times.
While vehicle was moving approximately 20 mph, consumer pressed brake pedal to stop, and pedal hit floor. Vehicle did not stop, causing consumer to rear end vehicle in front of him. The customer states brake failure was due to defect.
ABS brake problem; when applying the brakes on dry surface, the ABS system kicks in.turned the brakes off and driver could not stop vehicle. Also, steering wheel locked up and driver could not turn left or right. Two dealerships were not able to duplicate these problems.
