The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 300C. While driving 70 mph on the freeway, the vehicle accelerated and the service electronic control module warning indicator illuminated. The contact attempted to depress the brake pedal while allowing the vehicle to slow down. The contact veered to the shoulder of the road. Once the vehicle was turned off and restarted, it resumed normal operation. The vehicle was taken to bettenhausen Chrysler Jeep (15941 S 94th ave, orland park, il 60462, 708-460-5337) where a diagnostic test was scheduled. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 41,000. The VIN was invalid.
About every 2,000-3,000 miles I have a wheel speed sensor go out, I too have faced shortages due to a reoccurring ongoing problem that should be recalled. When a sensor goes out several features disable such as cruise control, forward collision warning, and traction control.
