Airbag light stays on. Afraid to drive car that the air bag will not deploy in case of accident or go off unexpectedly. I noticed it before I put the car in drive. Came on while idling.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2013 Chrysler 300. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V352000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. The VIN was not available. Parts distribution disconnect. Updated 09/29/16
