There is no way a car right off the lot should have after factory parts ESPECIALLY HID headlights. I now live in VA but purchased the new car in HI. No one in either state or corporate could tell me why or offer a solution. It was painfully hard to find a compatible part to avoid paying over $3,000 for the dealer to fix. The problem began in 2012 when one of the bulbs went out. The cheapest I could find was $450 for two bulbs which was better than the dealer's offer of $425 for one bulb.
Now, in February of 2015, both headlight went out and it wasn't simply the bulb but because the headlights were after factory, it became a nightmare to correct. Chrysler was not helpful whatsoever. I am furious that they didn't step up and fix their faulty headlights. If it were factory headlights, this may not have been so horrible (expensive yes, but not nearly impossible to find) but again, these were after factory which never should have been in there because I was the first and only owner and drove it straight off the lot.
Chrysler dropped the ball on this one by not assisting me. Finally, in May 2015, the headlights have been fixed with a price tag of more than $500. I had to rent cars to be able to get on the road at night. This was a nightmare.
Because of this, I will not purchase another Chrysler in my life.
