Car has recently started with engine light being on, then the EPS/BAS light was on. After a few days, ALL the lights on the instrument panel are flashing as I am driving the car. Gauges going to zero also while driving. A/C air will turn to warm eventually, but then the AC will get cold again while driving but panel still flashes until car is turned off.
We've pulled fuses to see if it was possibly fuses that didn't seem to work. We cleaned the front control module, that only worked for a day..then it started back up again. Took it to the Chrysler dealership, they replaced the ignition saying that was the issue, and that didn't help at all.
The car doesn't stay on now. When the key is turned on it will just shut off. When we turn the car on the alarm auto start it will stay on, but after a few tries, it won't stay on any longer. With the key, turns over but then turns right off. Once the key is used it will not stay on. The key lock/unlock stopped working and would not unlock the trunk either. We just had new keys bought and programmed to the car in August from the dealership themselves. Instrument panel still flashes even after ignition was replaced.
Dealership now refuses to look at the car again, until after we have the after market security alarm removed saying that is what is causing the problem. but the alarm was and has always been working. We don't think it's the alarm. Now we are stuck with our car, not being able to drive it...with NO ONE understanding the problem to be able to find us a solution.
