dashboard cover separating from dashboard
The car is supposed to be the top of the line 300 . The leather dashboard cover is separated from the dash. Car has extended warranty but dealer says this isn't covered. Dealer said parts are $2,400 and he will policy all but $250; chrysler corporate refused to help in any fashion. Dealer has been great , Chrysler has been worthless.
My fear is what if it happens Again? The car is 3.5 years old and it is unreasonable of Chrysler to pretend that this type of failure on a vehicle this age is to be expected.
I looked at some of the Chrysler owner discussion forums and there were a number of reports of failures identical to the one I have experienced and many were covered under warranty.
I would like Chrysler to take care of the repair because any reasonable person would say that this failure is premature , especially on a vehicle at this price point , and because they have made the same repair, under warranty, in other cases.
