I am locked out of my Chrysler 300 when it rains hard, rains for long periods of time, and / or times of high humidity. The Key FOB auto button fails to function (i.e. electronic door will not unlock & trunk will not open) and requires me to use the 'emergency' FOB recessed key. I live in Arizona thus the Moore Arrowhead Chrysler dealership service department (with Service Directors assistance) is unable to repeat the issue because we live in an arid environment. This along with a other intermittent start button failures (when vehicle sits for long periods of time) & door unlocking erroneously when I stand by the driver door with FOB in my pocket and 'without' touching the door or door handle implies a significant electronic microprocessor and / or sensor intermittent failure issue. The resolution suggested by the Moore Arrowhead Chrysler Service Director, Luke Roe-Moore is to use the 'Emergency Key' recessed in the key FOB (as that he says is the purpose of the hard copy key provided by Chrysler manufacturing) and call them if it happens again. I consider this an unacceptable response to a customer of a NEW auto from their dealership.
