The contact owns a 2012 Chrysler 300. While driving various speeds, the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (central avenue Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram located at 1839 central park ave, yonkers, NY 10710; (914) 961-5400) where it was diagnosed that the driver side air bag harness needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred several other times on different occasions. The vehicle was taken to the same dealer where it was diagnosed that the aig bag wire needed to be connected. The vehicle was repaired. Recently, while in the parking lot, the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 71,441. Updated 11/07/17 the consumer stated the alternator began to smokeso much the fire department was called. The electrical system and tire pressure system failed. The consumer was advised the vehicle shut down due to a computer system failure.
