For some time now, when I open the trunk lid on my 2012 Chrysler 300C, water runs out of the lid. Today I opened the lid and nothing happened at first, then I slowly started to close the lid and water started running out of the bottom on the driver's side of the lid, then I opened the lid and more water started running out of the other side of the lid on the same side. I don't know how the water can get in there or where it comes from. Does anyone know what causes this? The trunk is otherwise dry. Any help would be very appreciated.
