The contact owns a 2011 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that the rear driver and passenger side seat belt retractors failed to function properly. The seat belt webbing became excessively tight whenever securing an occupant and would not loosen to allow a little slack. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where both seat belt retractors were replaced. The manufacturer was not notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 2,300.
