The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler 300. The locking mechanism on the passenger's side seat belt failed. The contact must detach and then rehook the seat belt to prevent it from contracting. The dealer states that the contact needed an extender. Daimler Chrysler dealers stated that an extender was not the remedy. The consumer states when the seat belt contracts, which is very often it won't let loose. The consumer states the seat belt was changed on Chrysler 300's in 2007 on the passenger side. The consumer also states passenger can not wear seat belt comfortably without the seat belt hurting. The consumer has taken vehicle to 2 different dealers and spoke with Chrysler and they refuse to fix the problem. Update 05/04/07
