This is regarding the transmission. While driving, the transmission would suddenly jerk as it was about to shift. This would happen mostly when slowing down, then accelerating to merge with traffic. This is a recurring problem since I bought the car in 2007 to 2020! last occurred September 13, 2020.

I was driving my lights started flickering inside and out. I pulled over turned car off then back on and it was completely dead. Had it jump started and then push the gas and car wouldnt move. The it jumped into gear real hard and has been stuck in 2nd gear ever since.

The transmission went out. It was fine then then lights started flickering inside and out and then when I turned the car off and tried to turn it back on it was completely dead. No lights or power at all. Had to get a jump start. Then when I tried to go it was revving up but wouldnt move and then all of a sudden jumped into gear real hard. It had significant loss of power and would get up and go. It's real slow from the start and it dangerous driving it because it will just rev up and not move then jump into gear very hard. It has almost thrown my car into the back of other cars because it jumps so bad I to gear all of a sudden. Then when you try to get out of the way of another car coming G it sometimes barely moves and it very dangerous. It has been stuck in 2nd gear ever since. It had a lot of loss of power. I had the transmission replace 2 times and both including the original are all stuck in 2nd gear. Also when I turn the car it makes a loud popping cracking sound by the wheels. Like it's going to break. Also going over speed bumps it's really loud and squeaky.
Gear shift stuck in park dealership says many Chrysler vehicles have the problem...Dodge challenger, Dodge charger, Chrysler aspen, Dodge durango, Dodge Ram, Dodge magnum, Dodge Dakota...they cannot get part from chryler!

Takata recall. The contact owned a 2007 Chrysler 300. While parked, the vehicle began to roll away. The contact was able to gain access to the vehicle and the air bag inadvertently deployed and caught fire. The contact sustained burns to the face, hair, right arm, and a gash in the left leg. Gear shift will not shift out of park. I believe my vehicle is having the same issue as the K39 recall however because of my build date of 02/07/07, the recall only applies to vehicles built 6/25/07-9/21/07.
Gear shift stuck in park wont shift, locked up in park position also while driving the acelerator rises to show a excellerate speed then goes quickly back down to the speed you were traveling ex: Going 55 and guage quckly rises to 65 or 70 and drops to 55 again within seconds without going any faster than 55.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler 300. Approximately two years ago, the gear shift failed to properly switch from the reverse to the drive position without warning. The contact mentioned that the gear shift went into the neutral position. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the shift lock was replaced. In addition, the contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V352000 (air bags) and stated that the part was not available within a reasonable time frame to schedule the recall repair. The manufacturer could not provide an estimated date for when the vehicle would receive the recall repair. The failure was reported. The approximate failure mileage was 43,000. My car was stuck in park and I had to have it towed to a shop to get it repaired and it cost me almost $400 to get it fix. I mailed off my receipt for reimburstment but I never received a refund and this was a recall.
2007 Chrysler 300 with $67,000 miles, pull in garage, later to go to the dr. And could not get it out of park, also at $50,000 miles heater in both front seats went out the same time. At $40,000 miles had to replace right and left sway bars.
