CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Chrysler 200 carries the torch of "never buy the 1st year of a new vehicle generation" with pride.
The 2015 model year is the first year of the Chrysler 200's 2nd generation. It has been plagued by problems from the start. Transmission failure at extremely low mileage, many recalls, problems stalling while driving... the list goes on. Maybe Chrysler should have stuck with the 1st generation.
I have only had this car 6 months.. There is a clicking noise in the front drivers side tire area. I can hear it when I'm barely moving, I heard it the first time in a 6 story hospital parking garage where it's nice and quiet, it was awful (click clank click clank). Now I roll my window down and listen and I'm not sure how long it has been doing that.
At 4000 miles, started to hear a faint buzzing vibration to the car. Noticed it more on driver side under floor board near gas and brake pedals (underneath car). The noise would be heard best between 35-50 mph when slowing to a stop. It gradually got worse after about 3-4 days and finally took it to dealer today (7/24/14). Diagnosis: front wheel hub bearings...."I'm shocked!" Thank goodness the warranty will cover the replacement parts and labor, but this was annoying. I traded in my 2010 Dodge Charger for this beautiful new Chrysler 200 C Class. I'm kinda missing my Charger. I love this new car....I just hope this is the beginning of the end to any future problems. Just wanted to put it out there so if others had this problem to have it checked out!
