- Flash: 2.4L Powertrain Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination or one or more of the following conditions. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) set in the PCM memory: 2015 UF Vehicles with (Sales Codes ED6, ED8), built on or before June 16, 2015 (MDH 0616XX). ? U0402 - Implausible Data Received From TCM. ? Engine Startup Flare and Idle Surge. ? P2172 - High Airflow/Vacuum Leak Detected. ? P1D73 - AGS Performance. ? U0140 - Lost Communication With Body Control Module. ? P0441 - Evap Purge System Performance. ? P0116 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1 Performance. ? P050D - Cold Start Rough Idle. 2015 PF Vehicles with (Sales Codes ED6, ED8), built on or before July 24, 2015 (MDH 0724XX). ? Low Idle Speed After Cold Start between 14°F to 32°F (-10°C to 0°C). ? Cold Idle Surge With AC Engaged. ? Improve cabin warm up in cold weather, when the vehicle is in park or neutral and the temperature is between 10°F to 40°F (-12°C to 4.5°C). ?
