CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Chrysler 200 carries the torch of "never buy the 1st year of a new vehicle generation" with pride.
The 2015 model year is the first year of the Chrysler 200's 2nd generation. It has been plagued by problems from the start. Transmission failure at extremely low mileage, many recalls, problems stalling while driving... the list goes on. Maybe Chrysler should have stuck with the 1st generation.
The moment our warranty was up the check engine light came on. After finding the code P1D73, no one knew what this was for. We finally found the code for Ram trucks and it was the AGS system. Our blades for the system were destroyed but, we were at no point in any accidents. This was simply from our environment in ohio being too cold, from our understanding.
We found a YouTube video of how to disassemble the system and remove the motor from the AGS. Then reinstall the the motor for the AGS to "fake out" the computer. Now we do get less gas mileage but I can use the car starter.
