After driving the car 30 minutes or more and I turn it off, it will not restart for another 30 minutes or more. It had left me stranded as well as caused me to be late for work jeapordizing my job and my safety. The car has been to 2 different dealers and they cannot find anything wrong. I cannot trade it in because the blue book value is less than what I owe. I feel that Chrysler should compensate me for this vehicle by buying it back at the price I paid. Sometimes the dash says 'engine warming up, please wait.'

The car will intermittently stall and shut off while driving. The car has done this numerous times while in motion on both the highway and city streets. It happened again today and every day last week, Monday thru Friday, while driving to work. The problem has progressively gotten worse and happens just about every time the car is driven. Chrysler and the dealership have basically washed their hands of correcting the problem at this point. They state the recall for this very problem has been completed. Yet the car continues to have the same issue as the recall that was done to fix the original issue. The dealership now wants to charge to diagnose and fix the problem.

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. After driving and placing fuel in the vehicle, the vehicle was unable to start. All the warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was towed to the contact's home. Cardinal Buick GMC (3800 il-15, belleville, il 62226, (618) 233-0303) was contacted and stated that the VIN was not included in a recall. The contact replaced the battery, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in a recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 36,144.

When coming to a stop or accelerating from a complete stop either turning or straight, the engine stalls without warning & there is no power steering or momentum to safely pull over. I have been stuck with hazards on at neighborhood stop signs, in stopped traffic after the light turns green, freeway on ramps, in the center of small & large intersections blocking traffic, on railroad tracks, & more. It can take up to 3 tries for the engine to restart. Obviously this is extremely unsafe, & I do not believe that I should be stuck in an intersection because a newer car with such low miles dies every day, often several times a day. In addition, the transmission is very jerky & the engine does not run smoothly once it restarts. That also happens occasionally upon the first start of the day. I do not understand why my vehicle was not included in the recall for this exact issue. I do have videos of this, but can not upload them. The date below is the date of one of the videos, this problem occurs daily & has been for several weeks. After purchasing the car, there were a few incidents months apart, then it became more frequent, & for the last several weeks it is a daily occurrence.

I was having issues with my car I would get in it to drive it and it would just die on me in the middle of the road and that is very dangerous it got to where I didn't drive it well then finally on a day off I had to get my Chrysler 200 towed into the nearest Chrysler dealership which is the dealership located in mt juliet well I have always had my oil changed on time and I have all the documents that it was changed well we got it towed and the mechanic checked my oil and there was no oil what so ever in my car so I would up having to leave my car for there manager to supposedly change the oil and do an oil pressure test well I had my car picked up by my grandma and they didn't giver her a receipt because the mechanic told us it would be an open account until they figured out if it was using oil well I drove it 1 thousand miles and took it back and the manager with the mechanic checked my oil and they said it was full well then next thousand miles we took it back and they decided to give us issues because the mechanic we where working with had left the company and we have a receipt from both times and it states in the first receipt that they put in their system that the oil consumption test did begin on that date well the manager told us that they only had record of us being there twice which both times was to check the oil well the manager stated that I would have to bring it back and get an oil change and start the entire process over again and my car is only in warranty for a few more months my car is using oil and there is no leaks that are happening I want this issue fixed or you can buy this car out I am tired of having to miss work or going through heck to try to get this resolved. I do have the proof and I'm not scared to take this into lawful orders. My oil was recently changed 2/28/2019, the oil is 3 months old and I've only drive 2,133 miles since. My car takes full synthetic oil and should last for 6,000 miles. I checked it today 6/12/2019 and my car tells me I have 66% left and I do not I need to get a oil changed even before hitting 3,000 miles because there is none left. I have had this issue happen 3/4 times within the last year and a half and I've only had the car for 2 years. A few months back I got this checked out by my mechanic and even a second mechanic, he told me that the pistons rings on my car are bad and is causing excessive oil consumption, there is no leak etc. So my car constantly runs out of oil before its time to change it and is causing my car to cut off in the middle of driving. My mechanic advised me to report this problem and either change the oil every 3,000 miles or get rid of the car. It is dangerous for the car to continuously cut off while driving it. So I am reporting this problem I've had for the past year and a half with hopes for a solution

My husband got was leaving work today 6/12/19 and pull out from his job to enter traffic but once he was straight in the lane the car began to slow down so he had to pull into a gas station to try and get back started which took about 5 mins of the car winding before it started.
