CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Chrysler 200 carries the torch of "never buy the 1st year of a new vehicle generation" with pride.
The 2015 model year is the first year of the Chrysler 200's 2nd generation. It has been plagued by problems from the start. Transmission failure at extremely low mileage, many recalls, problems stalling while driving... the list goes on. Maybe Chrysler should have stuck with the 1st generation.
First off, it jerks all the time. Kept cutting off while riding down the road and now the service throttle engine comes up and states that engine is hot... engine is not hot!! I cut the car off and start it back up and it does ok for awhile then comes on again. Just yesterday my daughter was moving it and the parking brake engaged. I'm so sick of this POS. I'm getting ready to take it and drop it off where I got it. Has been nothing but a lemon since day one!!!! THEY NEED TO RECALL ALL OF THESE CARS AND TAKE THEM OFF THE MARKET!!!
