Body Control Module Failure
2015 Chrysler 200
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chrysler dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Chrysler 200 carries the torch of "never buy the 1st year of a new vehicle generation" with pride.
The 2015 model year is the first year of the Chrysler 200's 2nd generation. It has been plagued by problems from the start. Transmission failure at extremely low mileage, many recalls, problems stalling while driving... the list goes on. Maybe Chrysler should have stuck with the 1st generation.

So here we are again with the awful Chrysler 200, my screen started flashing red ( engine overheating) then something about electrical throttle. Had to pull over shut it off and waited few minutes. Restarted and lights came back on all normal besides the engine light stays on. I called the dealership within 10 min to let them know what had happened, can’t get it in until Nov 4th so week and 1/2 after the problem happened. I’m gonna bet since I have no warranty, this is gonna cost me big time and all I can say is this car isn’t worth putting hundreds upon hundreds of dollars into. Never again will I buy a Chrysler!!!! Nothing but problems that don’t get fixed and then when warranty runs out they sure find all the problems wrong, funny how that works!!! Pretty sad when my husbands old junk car for work runs better then mine !!! Pathetic!!!!
