Car will slow accelerate when trying to gain speed quickly to pass or move out of the way of other cars. It will not accelerate and up shift/down shift to gain speed quickly. Almost got hit a couple of times because car would not accelerate to get out of the way. It is always in low gears and speed trying to gain speed.

The new one paid for by roger of gator chrylser melbourne, fl had an inmatched dot number, being from a new batch, also lesser tread wear compared to other 3. tire kingdom since has seen my car multiple times for tire punctures. I was told the car guys here are connected and nothing is for free. I was told they are pawns following someones directive. This is disturbing as it involves local organized crime, as even the police could not get away with this action legally. I saved tge patched tire and all records. On multiple occasions I have been driving down the road and my car shifts very hard and has made grinding noises. Not only that but ever since I have bought it, it shifts like a rubber band being pulled back and makes you lunge forward. I believe I have taken it in 3 times now and with no resolution. The first time I took it in they had a service rep ride with me to see what I was feeling. He personally said that it wasn't shifting correctly and so they kept it. When I picked it up they informed me they did not find anything wrong with it but re-programmed it. As I left the dealership it shifted worse than before. I then called and complained and they said it was normal, on my way back home it was consistently shifting rough. I finally just pulled over shut the car off and started it up again. After doing so it shifted smoother but worse than it did before. On a separate occasion I was driving down the highway at a speed of 70 mph set on cruise when I tried to disengage the cruise control function and it would not disengage! I was going from a highway to a speed limit change and could not get it. Luckily I have read about this happening and shifted it into neutral and I was able to disengage it after that.

I have been having many issue with this car the latest issue which just happened my car wouldn't turn on and all the lights on the dash board would turn on the 'service transmission' 'serivce brakes' will turn and they would start flashing. Tamara recall I have a 200S model purchased brand new. I first started having issues with the car maybe 20,000K miles in. When the car is sitting in park the transmission slips and automatically goes into neutral, then forces the car to be set in park. At this point the car cannot be moved and just shows the check transmission light. This particular incident has happened 3 times. On numerous occasions the car has lost power while in motion, the car also struggles to go into the next gear almost daily. I have been to the same Chrysler that I purchased the car from numerous times. The first time my computer needed to be updated, the second time it was the transmission module, 3-5 it was an update now I'm back to the module acting up. The transmission light just came on again yesterday, I wake up today and the light is gone and of course Chrysler tells me the can't do anything without a code being present. I've lost so many days of work with this car it's ridiculous, and since the car holds no value I'm stuck with negative equity!!! please help

The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact to take the vehicle back to the dealer. The approximate failure mileage was 55,000.

I have a file with a complete timeline with the incidents upon request. I am now beginning to really loose any faith in the Chrysler product and the corporate office. Still under power train warranty. But this last recall has thrown me over the edge of considering new company. I had an appointment with local dealership Chrysler for the safety recall that is still open. They couldn't get me in for 3 weeks. I make appointment bc my car keeps loosing ot power and dies or almost dies/.my car lost all of its power while I was driving down the freeway at a constant moving pace with other cars. My car looses all power and I cant even steer the steering wheel and I work into the middle lane. Where freight liner almost hits me in the [xxx] end and swerves to miss me and overcorrects and winds up almost going over the bridge with a concrete wall saving him from ending up on the lower freeway. Once we got through the shock of what just happened. I try to get car to start. It wont even kick over and I cant get it ot if neutral. I call Chrysler corporate bc if I could have gotten the recall fixed sooner this would have been prevented. They tow to Chrysler and we wait 2 more weeks while they get to the car. Meanwhile I am having to pay everyday for a rental car. Which was over $500 and I am a single divorced parent of 2 children. 1 child recently passed from a rare disease at age 7 and my only son just started college in conway and I am so proud and want to support him in this move. At the end of 2 weeks I go to pick up the car and I am billed for 300 for a new battery and diagnostic test. I ask about the safety recall & why is was not done when that is the xavcrt reason we made the appointment? they overlooked that and needed to go do that. This whole experience cost me more than $1000. With time I had to leave work and all their calls to the Chrysler.
