CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Chrysler 200 carries the torch of "never buy the 1st year of a new vehicle generation" with pride.
The 2015 model year is the first year of the Chrysler 200's 2nd generation. It has been plagued by problems from the start. Transmission failure at extremely low mileage, many recalls, problems stalling while driving... the list goes on. Maybe Chrysler should have stuck with the 1st generation.
This car has been a pain in the ass every since I purchased it. First I had to get the engine replaced, now the trunk want stay closed. I have to keep closing it and closing it until it latches. I was leaving church yesterday and had to continue closing the trunk. When I closed it, it popped open each time. I didn't want to slam it because I didn't want to break it. The latch finally latched after several tries. What if it was raining and I was somewhere where I couldn't get it to stay closed? This sucks! What next? Problems always seem to happen on Sunday. Two strikes against this car. :-(
