The contact owns a 2013 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that the fuel tank was leaking fuel while receiving a routine oil change. Fuel leaked out underneath the side of the vehicle. The contact called the manufacturer and was informed that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was determined that the vehicle was not safe to drive and that fuel was leaking underneath the vehicle. The dealer was not notified and the vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 56,000.
