The contact owns a 2013 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that while driving at various highway speeds, the check engine warning light illuminated, and the vehicle would not properly accelerate while depressing the accelerator pedal. The contact indicated that the RPM was elevated before the vehicle lost motive power and stalled. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the Evaporator System Integrity Module was faulty and needed to be replaced. The part was replaced but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 115,000.
