My vehicle will cut off/stall while driving, losing speed control. This has happened more than I can count. On residential street, main highways, and freeways while doing speeds up to 70mph. If I am able to pull over to safety I would attempt to start the vehicle and it would crank but wouldn't turn over. After 2hrs the vehicle would start. I've taken it into several dealerships to be diagnosed and they wouldn't be able to duplicate the issue. The dealership hooked up a tracker and said it was one thing and fixed it and the problem is still happening. First incident was mothers day May 2017
I was driving straight on the highway my cars engine lost all power. Lights still worked, it just wouldn't run, I got my car brand new less then 5 miles on it, it wont run now wont turn over wont do anything. Dealership claims that they have never heard of this happening. Now I have a car sitting in my driveway good for nothing other then a thirty thousand dollar paper weight can anyone please help

Bought care used from the dealer 9 months ago and at approx. 52,000 miles the check engine light and traction control light came on while driving. The car decelerated to 30mph and lost all throttle control. Luckily I could pull over and get out of traffic and when I stopped the engine shuttered violently then cut off. This could have been fatal if it happened on the interstate. Had to restart the car over a dozen times to get it home. Finally got it to the shop and they have replace the throttle body and computer. Still at the shop and the issue is still not resolved. The bill is almost $600 and I don't have a working car. After doing research I see this is the same issue that happens to this car. Chrysler really needs to recall all of these cars and refund all money so we can buy a car that runs and will not potentially kill someone.

Something electrical is draining my battery. When I drive, the check engine light comes on, the ABS, traction, and brake light comes on while driving. When I'm idle nothing happens. When I'm on the highway it jerks and stalls a bit. I have to accelerate a lot to keep it going. I've had the battery replace 2 times in the past 3 months - brand new. It keep draining my battery. The alternator was fine. I took it to the dealership they told me they can't read it if the lights are not on. But it only comes on when I'm driving. The lights in the car, headlights, and radio all go out while I'm driving then back on. The headlights flicker. I'm about to need to have the battery replaced now a third time with no help from the dealership. My engine light is still on and and it drives rough and I smell gas when I'm driving. I just bought this car in August and I've had more issues with it than any other vehicle I've ever owned. I've only received 1 recall for the vehicle, I believe it should be thoroughly checked because it's too many issues for a car that's only 4 years old.
Engine stopped while waiting at red light and would not start back up. All lights radio ect.. were working. Car had gas. Got a hotshot, car started back up. The next day go to start car and it wouldn't start. 2days work missed. Upset$?!!
Head rest deployed while driving on city strret, the engine also shut down while makeing a left hand turn and will not start back up this has caused every sensor light to come on as well. Prior to this incident, my that my automatic start and locks were not working and the headlights were really dim. I took it to autozone where it was assessed and they determined it was not the battery.
The contact owns a 2013 Chrysler 200. While driving approximately 45 mph the vehicle shook violently and different warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle immediately decelerated and was coasted to the side of the road. The dealer diagnosed and replaced the electronic throttle control. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall. The failure mileage was 77,000. Updated 04/12/17
The contact owns a 2013 Chrysler 200. While driving various speeds, the vehicle independently accelerated. The vehicle also stalled while idling and several warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing, but the failure could not be duplicated. The failures persisted and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer. It was diagnosed that a piece of paper on the dashboard was the reason for the failure and was interfering with the vehicle's many sensors. The failures still persisted. The vehicle was never repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 20.
My husband purchased this vehicle for me less than six months ago, I went to put gas in it on Saturday 09/10, got out and noticed a sweet burning smell, thought it was someone else's vehicle. I went to a store right across the street got out and noticed the same smell. I then realized it was my vehicle and proceeded to go home(which is a short distance), the temp light came on, the continuous ringing started(as if I wasn't wearing my seatbelt), other lights proceeded to come on. When I turned into my subdivision, the car began smoking. As I turned on my street, it didn't want to pull at all. I managed to get it into the dealership on Monday, but just got a call today and was told the head gaskets blew, and it will be $3000 to repair. I've read similar story's on this site from other 2013 Chrysler 200 owners, and am quite bothered, but I'm also wondering what's being done to rectify this before someone gets injured or killed?

Ok.. so let me vent here. I first bought my car this year. (March) and they let me take my car for a night to see if I would like the car. They had a 2013 Chrysler 200 LX 2.4cyl. Or a 2014 Chrysler 200 limited 3.6 V6 the 2013 had 37K the 2014 had 21K. I wanted the 2014 but when they asked about it. It was already sold... I didn't know that. So I went for the '13 LX. Drove it off the lot for a test drive. Drove just fine. Got back to the dealer. Signed a paper and left with it from the dealer for the night. Well on my way home. I thought would go out of my way a little bit for a little extra drive. (keep in mind I had a full tank from the dealer) lol! something I requested. Because when I test drove it. It was on E. and gas light was on. But back to the point. While going out of my way. I stopped to get pizza. And left my car running. All lights were on. I'm sitting inside waiting for my pizza. Since I called it in before hand. Got my pizza. Come out to my car. And I stopped in my tracks. And thought. Hmm. I could have swore I left my car running. Like wtf. And my headlights and everything was still on! and then I thought. Oh [xxx]... I got into my car. Everything is on. Ac (which of course wasn't cold air since engine wasn't running) and all my lights were on. And I knew as soon as I got into my car and the RPM's are on 0 and everything is still on. I sat there for a minute. In shock and disappointment. Turned my key back. And turned it back and it fired right up. So I was upset but didn't think much of it. Called my dealer and they told me they would take care of it. Took it in and they gave me a loaner while they "fixed" it. Got it back and didn't happen after that. Now it just started again today. Bout a month worth's of time... I'm sick of this. My car only has 45K now. And I got it with 37K... taking my car in once again. This is going to kill somebody... stay safe.
