Tires in front feel like they bounce over bumps. The tires installed by Dealer are a softer quality. So before Winter hits we will replace with better quality tires and update as needed. Thanks
I actually copied and pasted another post as our problems are identical. I just added another paragraph on my fix that I tried that didn't solve the problem. If anyone knows a fix that would be great because this car handles horribly and I really don't want to keep driving it this way. Also, I put brand new Good Year tires for about $700 also.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. I love the car other than the handling...

our 2012 Chrysler 200 has been poor handling from the day we purchased it. Any bit of wind or imperfection in the road will cause the car to dart to the left or right. For example a lineal groove or line/expansion joint along the road will cause the car to dart. It does not matter how tight you hold the steering it will dart.
My Fix attempt:
I just had the rear struts replaced since you cannot get an inclusive strut assembly including the springs. I didn't replace the springs. The problem did get a bit better with less motion on the road after hitting bumps, expansion joints, etc., but would still consider this very unsafe operation on dry roads. After putting in new rear struts for about $400 and still didn't solve the problem this is pretty disappointing. Now I'm assuming I should try the springs since it still bounces pretty good after pushing down on the rear end of the car. My Toyota Camry is solid when I try to push down on the rear end.
In snowy/icy conditions it is very bad but the problem persists regardless of road conditions. When changing lanes on a freeway great care must be taken to keep the slightest motion of the steering wheel from causing the car to dart. In reality the car feels unsafe to drive.

we had an alignment but that did not help at all.
