My first car was a Plymouth Arrow 1978. I had a thermostat replaced, and a timing belt.
I have owned a Dodge Shadow 1991. Problem with paint peeling off. Radiator, head gasket blew.
Plymouth Neon 1999 best car ever. Only had to have a battery replaced.
2004 Dodge Neon was junk. Sunroof would not work, CD player would not work traded in. I still owed 7,000 when I traded it in. I got upside down when they tricked me into buying this 2008 Dodge Avenger from Neil Huffman. Car payments were 500.00 a month. Car had 24,000 when I bought it.
2008 Dodge Avenger great car no problems.
Tried to get car payments lowered instead they got higher when I purchased the 2010 Dodge Avenger. Car had 500 miles on it and lots of warranty. Traded car in at 10,000 miles. I never had any problems with the 2010 Dodge Avenger.
I was told in order to get payments down I would need to buy a Chrysler 200.
In 2012 I bought a Chrysler 2012 zero miles on the car. I bought it brand new. Touring model came with Sunroof and heated seats, leather interior, fog lights.
It had a lot of recalls that had to be fixed.
March 28,2018
Pulling out of a parking lot noticed accelerator level dropped. Car would only go 18 miles a hour. Lights on dash came on. Looked up diagnostic on internet. It said Electronic Throttle Body.
Took it to dealership. They did diagnostic test found throttle body stuck closed and not responding to pedal commands. Miles on the car were 40330.
Warranty covered the amt. which would have been 527.38.
I also had to have front brakes and machine the rotors. I paid for the brakes and machine the rotors 396.49.
Then on 9-12-2018 I had to have rear brakes put on.
Making a lot of noise. Firestone diagnosed the problem. Both sides rubbing back and forth due to warped rotors.
Firestone refereed me to dealer, saying may have recall.
Dealership said no recall and charged me 389.15 to fix the problem.
Oxmoor Chrysler Shelbyville Road in Louisville, KY 40207.
8-27-2020 Driving car and stopped at light. Battery light came on. The air conditioner put out a large blast of cold air and then quit. I rolled the window down. When I turned the corner 3 more lights came on. The shuddered violently and quit. I could not restart the car. I had to have the car towed to dealership. I have been told it’s the Alternator that went bad and drained the battery so I will need to replace both. Miles on the car 52334. Price to fix 944.00. Diagnostic test is 150.00 before taxes.
I have owned a lot of cars through the years from Chrysler and Dodge. This is the worst!!! When it rains water comes in and soaks front passenger mat and back passenger mat. The costs of repairs is outrageous! The dealerships have found a way of making a fortune at the customers expense. I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM CHRYSLER OR DODGE! EXPENSIVE JUNK!!!
