CarComplaints.com Notes: Since the Chrysler 200 first hit the streets, owners across the U.S. have complained about how their “dream car” quickly turned into a complete nightmare because of how the engine dies suddenly while driving.
There is a knocking/rattling/popping noise somewhere in the front end around steering area. It occurs mostly when I drive the car more than 30 miles, around town slowly stopping and starting at red lights, in parking lots and the longer I drive it the louder the noise gets. It sounds like the front end of the car is going to completely fall apart. I have taken it to the dealer and they have 3 other cars the same model and year doing the same thing, but can't seem to find the problem. This car is a nice car but I am not going to have it if they can't fix the noise!
