Wifi in late model GM products CANNOT be shut off. Still on even though 1 month complementary subscription has expired. Only way to stop being microwaved constantly by the WIFI is to completely shut the vehicle off and to shut down retained power (RPO), by opening the door after the 'ignition' is off.
Was waiting in the car - and reliably I get headaches while waiting for the car to finish charging - finally figured out My Brain doesn't like being inside a microwave Oven. My 2017 Chevy Bolt behaves similarly but the dealer ain't interested in hearing the complaint.
