This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have no heat in EV electric mode Technician will find a Diagnostic Trouble Code B048E in the Coolant Heater Control Module. Technician will need to check the HV cable to the coolant heater control module for proper connection. If any terminal damage is found, the affected component will have to be replaced.
