As part of our ongoing quality improvement process, effective August 24, 2015 the High Voltage Drive Motor Battery, for the 2016 Chevrolet Volt (GM part number 23348947) is being placed on restriction through the GM Technical Assistance Center (TAC). We will also put the following internal battery parts on restriction
1) high Voltage Battery Disconnect Relay ( Also known as A28 Hybrid/EV Battery Contactor Assembly ) GM Part Number: 24278166 or 24279022
2) Battery Energy Control Module (BECM) GM part Number: 24279214
