- Summary
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) On, Possible P0300, P040B, P041B, P1427 and/or P1429 DTCs Set Some customers may comment on a check engine light illuminated. During diagnosis a technician may find one or more of the following DTCs set: • P0300 — Engine Misfire Detected • P040B — Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature Sensor 2 Circuit Range/Performance • P041B — Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit Range/Performance • P1427 — EGR Temperature Sensor 1 – Intake Air Temperature 1 Not Plausible • P1429 — EGR Temperature Sensor 2 – Intake Air Temperature 1 Not Plausible This may be caused by a calibration within the K20 Engine Control Module
