The chime is so loud. First when you start the car the chime chimes 5 times. The volume is all the way down in the settings. If the car is running and you park the car and open the door the chime goes off. I have to close a gate in the morning. So every morning I have to shut the car down and restart. The sound comes over the speakers so no way to shut off. There should be a 15 minute time limit while in park that the car shuts off. The reason they have this is because people would leave their car running. As for the chime when I start the car it is just wonderful at 10 minutes to 5 in the morning. Seriously. It is really loud.
