My car stalled while traveling uphill on a major freeway while I was in the fast lane going 70 mph. I was in gas mode. I was able to pull to the median as that was the closest while going up such a steep incline. Once pulled over I attempted to use OnStar but the car would not connect. Also, the car jammed my cellphone, neither letting me call out through the car nor disconnect the bluetooth to be able to use it separately. Luckily a motorist stopped to help and I was able to call 911 with his cellphone as my daughter was in the car and vehicles were traveling past me at a high rate of speed. I took the car to the dealership and they told me that they didn't see anything wrong with the computer and something would have to happen three times for me to have rights with the vehicle. I no longer take this car out of town if I know there is a mountainous incline I may have to travel up. It seems fine in the city but it is truly unfortunate to not have full trust in this car, especially figuring I had only had it for a few months when this occurred.
