I was driving about 65 MPH down the road on one of the most deadly highways in the US, and my brakes went out! This was accompanied by a "service stabilitrak" error and the brake and ABS warning lights illuminating. I carefully drove far from vehicles in front of me straight to the dealership so they could see it for themselves. I've had the Volt for less than a year and it barely has over 65K miles on it. How is this dangerous defect not a class action lawsuit or recall yet? How can GM executives live with such poor quality from their vehicles?
I used to be a "only buy American" guy, but I've been burned by American too many times now. I'm sick of it. American companies even offer the worst warranties, with good reason, due to the cash they'd have to shell out for the garbage they produce. This issue is not isolated, as you can easily search for volt brake issues and find many people who've had the same issues with Volts of different gens.
