It appears that the GM decision to omit a spare time on the Volt was a bad decision. Two new tires as the result of unrepairable punctures in 12,000 miles. The sealant kit works for minor punctures, but not major. The tires appear to be thinner than other car tires and more susceptible to unrepairable punctures.
